Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week II

The week of April 7th 2008 witnessed another Islamo Fascism Awareness week on over 100 college campuses. While the first IFAWeek focused on challenging the academic community simply to acknowledge the existence of Islamo Fascism, Week II concentrated on how this movement—particularly in groups such as Hamas and Hizbollah and leaders such as Iran’s Ahmadinejad--has committed itself to a genocidal agenda. Week II featured the widespread circulation of a “Declaration Against Genocide” and a challenge to radical and Muslim groups to sign it; the showing of documentary films such as “Obsession” and ABC’s powerful docudrama “The Road to 9/11”; and speakers who appeared on dozens of campuses, often provoking near violent reactions by the left. Islamo Fascism Awareness Week II also focused on the role of the Muslim Students Association in prosecuting a “stealth” jihad on campus and documented this group’s relationship to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood in the pamphlet “The Muslim Student Association and the Jihad Network.”
